The 46 Foundation SMS/MMS Communications

This Privacy Policy describes how The 46 Foundation, operated by York County Emergency Services Foundation, Inc., collects, uses, and protects information associated with its website, programs, services, and SMS/MMS communications.
Information We Collect
We may collect information that individuals voluntarily provide to The 46 Foundation, including names, email addresses, telephone numbers, contact information, program or event information, communications and inquiries, SMS messaging preferences, consent and opt-out status, and other information necessary to provide requested services.
For SMS/MMS communications, we may also collect message delivery information and technical information necessary to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and maintain our messaging services.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
respond to inquiries and provide customer or participant support;
communicate regarding Foundation programs, services, events, registrations, volunteer activities, or other requested activities;

Individuals may receive SMS/MMS communications from The 46 Foundation after providing consent or by initiating an SMS/MMS conversation with the Foundation.
Messages may include responses to inquiries, customer or participant support, program and event information, scheduling or registration updates, volunteer coordination, operational notifications, monitoring or system alerts, and other communications requested or reasonably expected by the recipient.

Initiating an SMS/MMS conversation with The 46 Foundation permits us to respond to that inquiry but does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing or promotional messages.
The 46 Foundation – Alerts
The Foundation may operate automated monitoring and notification services under the name The 46 Foundation – Alerts. Users who enroll in these services may receive automated operational, monitoring, system, or detected-event notifications based on their preferences and monitored activity.
The 46 Foundation – Alerts is a supplemental information service and should not be relied upon as an official emergency notification, dispatch, or life-safety system.
Information Security and Retention
The Foundation uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information under its control. Information may be retained as necessary to provide Foundation services, maintain communication and consent records, process opt-out requests, troubleshoot service issues, maintain security, and satisfy applicable legal or compliance requirements.
